What a morning we had at our Book Week Parade!

Wizards, Witches, Where's Wally, Dog Man, Crayons, Lego, Mario, Princesses and Sports stars and so much more.. there was so much to be seen at our whole school parade.
Please enjoy the photos below. As well as the parade the classes enjoyed books and activities read by our year 5/6 students.

The Library has transformed into magic with the theme of this year....Book an Adventure, where book week has turned 80! The feature artist for the year, Jess McGeachin, has brilliantly captured this adventurous spirit in his artwork, which features a whimsical map filled with imaginary characters. Jess’ illustration invites young readers to embark on fantastical journeys, inspiring them to travel through the worlds that books open up. As an award-winning Australian picture book illustrator, Jess’ work encourages children to imagine, explore, and create their own adventures. If you haven't had a look at our Library please do so.

The students also enjoyed a Scavengure Hunt around the school and have entered their responses, who knows there could be a PRIZE.

Thanks to Mrs Smith and Miss Remoundos for your hard work in setting up the libary with the help of some students, Eden, Taylor, Ayla, Evie S, Maisha and Lulu. We think it looks magnificent!
